Leadership means many different things to many different people.
Often people ask the question “Are leaders born or made?” It is not the answer to this
question that is important in defining leadership, what is important is:

• Defining who you are, as a leader,
• Who do you want to be as a leader,
• Identifying what you need to do to achieve that, and
• What your people can expect from and of you?

Before we can determine our leadership brand we must first understand who we are as
a person.

• What we stand for – our values and beliefs.
• Dreams and aspirations
• Our drivers and motivators.
• Our blind spots/habits.
• Fears and
• Challenges.
